Stopića cave was discovered in 1901 and is one of the most famous caves in Serbia. It was named after the hamlet of Stopići, near the village of Rožanstvo. It consists of 5 units: Light Hall, Dark Hall, Great Hall with tubs, Canal with tubs and River Canal. Trnavski stream flows through the cave. Not far from Užice, in the village of Potpeće, there is Potpećka cave, a spring-type cave. The horseshoe-shaped entrance, 50 m high, is the highest cave entrance in Serbia. It is 10 km long, but 555 m of sightseeing is available to tourists.
